Canggu

An undulating rural area between Kuta and Tanah Lot with housing, villas and boutique hotels. The beach has some great surf breaks but is dangerous for swimming. Candi Dasa - Beachfront village in Bali's east.

Located on the northeastern coast of Bali, just north of Padangbai lies the small village of Candidasa. A tranquil coastal area nestled between the Lombok Strait to the east and mountains to the west, Candidasa is within close proximity to many historical landmarks of Bali including Bali's mother temple, Pura Besakih, Tenganan (the aboriginal people of Bali) as well as the ferry terminal to Lombok. Jimbaran Bay - A seafood lovers heaven.

Jimbaran is just south of Kuta. Up until fairly recently it was just a village of fishermen, but is now home to a couple of five-star beach resorts and seaside grilled seafood restaurants are now they are a major tourist draw, as are the beautiful sunsets. Kuta - Tourist paradise

Kuta is a town in southern Bali, Indonesia. A former fishing village, it was one of the first towns on Bali to see substantial tourist development, and as a beach resort remains one of Indonesia's major tourist destinations. Legian
Legian is a mixed tourist / residential area on the west coast of Bali just north of Kuta and south of Seminyak. Often mention in the same breath as Kuta, Legian borders Kuta to the north (for our purposes we define Legian as the area between Jl. Melasti and Jl. Dhyana Pura) and is much the same as Kuta when it comes to inexpensive accommodations, restaurants and shopping. That said Legian is a bit quieter because there is no direct public access road along the beach giving the area a more resort feel. More info..

 

Lovina - North Bali

Singaraja - The old capital

Singaraja is the largest city on the north shore of Bali, an island in Indonesia at the east end of Java. It takes around 2 to 3 hours to drive to Singaraja from the South of Bali. There are three main routes: East via Kintamani, taking in the stunning volcano, Mt Batur; West via Pupuan, through beautiful rice-paddies, spice and coffee plantations; and central, via Bedugal with its famous market and nearby botanical gardens.
